My mother definitely does not share my obsession with fashion. I
d say she dreads shopping for new clothes the way little kids dread a trip to the dentist. So it
s always so funny to look back on old pictures of her as a young mom, and see how stylishly she dressed. As a child of the sixties, she claims to have been far more invested in the idea of revolution than personal style, but I think she forgets that that free-spirited way of being came with such a strong look.
