7 Things We Loved Today: Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss Sit Front Row at Oscar de la Renta and More

A frigid climate gave way to some early snow showers and a (thankfully!) sunny afternoon for the sixth day of Fashion Week, but neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these fashion editors from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. Here, the best moments from today.

1. Winter warmers at Tory Burch. There may have been no more convincing argument for the mule than the wooly gray socks scrunched at the ankle at Tory Burch. We were very nearly keen on passing out a few pairs to some bare-legged (how?! Why?!) showgoers.

2. Getting into the groove at Baja East. The label’s signature Ikat print done up in fur and the killer soundtrack—live crooning by Abir Haronni, who covered the likes of Alanis Morissette, Jewel, and Tracy Chapman—at Baja East made for a seriously groovy show.

3. Watch This Face: Our hearts were stolen by a fresh face on the Vera Wang runway: the moody-eyed, sultry-lipped, and enviously angular Bhumika. It was a breakout moment, and one we hope to see more of in the weeks to come.

4. Marabou Magic. At Rodarte, marabou-trimmed, lacy, asymmetrical white frocks, sequin-bodiced cocktail numbers, and heavy coats alike. It brought on a fresh desire for Joan Collins in Dynasty-style decadence: Nothing sets the fashion flock’s heart aflutter quite like feathers.

5. Mansur Gavriel’s got a whole new bag. The purveyors of everyone’s favorite ubiquitous bucket bag have branched out: This season they premiered a top-handled lady bag and smooth leather cross-body as well as a new shade: peony.

6. No Sweat at Harbison: Charles Elliott Harbison continues to impress with his approach to American sportswear, and nowhere is this better illustrated than his truly glamorous take on that most unglamorous of wardrobe staples, the sweatsuit, here emblazoned with furry badges.
