8 Things We Loved At New York Fashion Week Today: Posh and David s PDA, Naomi Campbell, A Great Dane, and More

We hit the streets so you don t have to.

The suppressive heat wave that has held us all in its thrall seemed to take a turn for the (somewhat) breezy on Day 4 of Fashion Week, but there was more than enough going on to keep editors busy. From an alarmingly charming post-show PDA moment between Victoria and David Beckham to runway appearances by Naomi Campbell and some very Great Danes, it was anything but a lazy Sunday. Our favorite moments from our itinerary, below.

1. Posh and David’s PDA: After Victoria Beckham unveiled her spring 2015 collection early this morning, the ultra famous couple stole a quick post-show congratulatory smooch—was PDA ever so comely?

2. Twin Shadow turns it up at Public School: Walking into a Public School runway show, you know enough to anticipate a certain level of cool. But we weren t expecting the live concert from George Lewis Jr. of one-man band Twin Shadow, whose melodic stylings kept editors shimmying along all through the collection.

3. Very Great Danes: You would be forgiven for thinking that the mob of fans outside Hood By Air was newsworthy in and of itself, until, that is, you got an eyeful of who was walking the runway: collar-sporting HBA models, taking a spin with a few shockingly well-behaved harlequin Great Danes.

4. Naomi at DVF: an icon for an icon. The super closed the show in spectacular style.

5. That 70s show: Derek Lam took us through all of our Ali MacGraw–tinged fantasies with a Joni Mitchell–sound-tracked, clog-footed, tailored suede tour de force.

6. Opening Ceremony s opening act: Just when you were tiring of traditional runway shows, enter Opening Ceremony s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, who took us backstage at the Met Opera House for a Spike-Jonze-and-Jonah-Hill-penned one-act play.

7. Candy cigarettes at Versus: No stranger to controversy, the brand celebrated its acquisition of Anthony Vaccarello with a major front row—Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Naomi Campbell—and party favors that played with political correctness.

8. Giulietta steps out footwear for the first time: The designer took her signature sense of Italian sophistication from head to toe with her first collection of shoes.
