Hot off of her turn in Venice for Babygirl, Nicole Kidman is already promoting her next project. The actor hit the Los Angeles premiere of her forthcoming Netflix show The Perfect Couple, an ensemble whodunnit set in an upscale locale. (Call it The White Lotus Effect—this one even stars Meghann Fahy!)
Kidman wore a custom Ferragamo dress for the occasion, styled by Jason Bolden. The floor-length black chainmail dress molded itself to the actor’s body. While plenty sexy with a plunging V-neck and a semi-sheer fabric, she added some contrast with a black tuxedo jacket, which she wore draped over her shoulders.
Like Kidman, Fahy also opted for a sheer black number with a deep V for the carpet. Her lingerie-inspired Victoria Beckham look was made entirely of lace which fell below the knee and featured an open back. She kept the attention on the jaw-dropping dress thanks to her minimal accessories: a pair of diamond stud earrings and black peep-toe heels with an ankle strap.
Between Nicole Kidman and Meghann Fahy, The Perfect Couple carpet was well represented in the slinky black dress department—perfect for the premiere of a murder mystery. We’re taking notes!
