Bill Nighy’s new podcast, Ill-Advised, may be all about giving thoughtful advice, but that doesn’t mean that he wants to be mistaken for someone who has it all figured out.
It’s one of the first things he told Chioma after arriving at the London podcast studio (wearing a suit, a sweater from his line with John Smedley, and Church’s loafers). Nevertheless, we persisted in asking Bill to answer listener questions and break down the secret behind his signature style. In turn, he offered charming (and genuinely helpful!) tips on getting along with your in-laws over the holidays; a sweet way to propose to your partner; and recommended a film to delight both adults and kids (hint: he stars in it!).
Earlier in the show, Chloe breaks down next spring’s Costume Institute exhibition, titled “Costume Art,” which was announced on Monday; and Chioma recaps the GQ Men of the Year event in London, at which she wore a chic brown Aaron Esh suit and had a fun text conversation with Cynthia Erivo about her excitement for Wicked: For Good (which she plans to see this weekend!). Plus, hear all about the 16 Arlington show earlier this week where Lily Allen made her runway debut!
