Cara and Kendall Hit the Bar at Chanel, and More Things We Loved at Paris Fashion Week

Today will go down in fashion history asZoolander takeover day, but the epic stunt wasn t the only thing that caught our eye. What with the brasserie-cum-runway at Chanel, where models like Cara Delevingne nibbled on olives and sipped on freshly pressed grapefruit juice, the morning was off to a flying start. And it ended on a high note too, with McQueen’s pretty-in-pink lace dresses. See these moments and more in our daily roundup.

1. Cara and Kendall hit the bar at Chanel: Each season, Karl Lagerfeld transforms the Grand Palais for Chanel’s show, and today guests were invited into a French brasserie. Party-loving models like Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner took a seat at the bar on the runway after Lagerfeld’s finale lap.

2. Say my name: High-waisted and a perfect shade of indigo blue, the jeans as **Vanessa Seward’**s debut presentation were devoid of logos, but did come with the names of the models embroidered on the back pocket. And that s reason to snap a belfie if ever there was one.

3. Red-carpet wins: With so many designers focusing their efforts on daywear, it was refreshing to see the parade of gorgeous evening dresses at Valentino. The long-sleeved, floor-sweeping looks will make for a chic alternative to the barely there red-carpet style favored in Hollywood.

4. Strategic lace: There have been countless sheer looks on the runway this season, but few designers have answered the question of what one wears underneath quite as beautifully as Alexander McQueen’s**Sarah Burton.** Here, pretty pink dresses were layered over lace underpinnings, the game-changing ingredient of the looks.

5. Our new favorite poncho: Spun from super-soft cashmere, designer **Denis Colomb’**s cream-colored poncho is one of the subtlest and most alluring takes on fringe we ve seen this season.
