Between British designer **J.W. Anderson’**s debut for the Spanish house of Loewe and **Jun Takahashi’**s magical offering for Undercover, it s fair to say that the spotlight fell on international bright young things today. And that’s not to mention the flood of talented out-of-towners we spotted at the British Fashion Council–backed London Showrooms s opening. See those highlights and more in our daily roundup of memorable moments.
1. Aymeline Valade front row at Dior: The icy blonde model turned actress traded in the runway and looked superchic seating next to fellow Parisienne Marion Cotillard.
2. Undercover goes Black Swan: With a runway that was shattered with gigantic red cherries and looks that ran the gamut of prima ballerina and demonic black swans, Jun Takahashi s vision for spring was truly magical.
3. J.W. Anderson s first show for Loewe: The British designer pulled out all the stops for the Spanish house and there was lots to love here—especially as far as accessories go: from bags to the angular statement earrings that skater turned model Natalie Westling wore on the runway.
4. Think pink at Dosa. Artist Sam Schonzeit has made installations for the likes of Dover Street Market and his spray-painted postcards decorated the label s showroom to match the pretty pink look of the new collection.
5. London Showrooms lands in Paris: With a brunch hosted by Vogue.com’s very own Sarah Mower, the traveling band of cool British designers landed in Paris today. It was a good opportunity to get a closer look at some of the best collections from last week, including newbies like Faustine Steinmetz.
