In another spin of the speedily revolving designer carousel, Peter Dundas is leaving Emilio Pucci. After sending out possibly the most superb and talent-defining collection he s made since he joined in 2008, he brought out the Pucci backroom team and atelier workers, raised his arms, and bowed down to them. No official announcement has yet been made, but that gentlemanly accolade was as public a declaration as there can be that Dundas is on his way elsewhere. There s rife speculation as to where his next stop will be—indications are that it will be another storied Italian print house.
