PhotoVogue Festival 2023: The Talks
This conversation took place on November 19th 2023 as part of the PhotoVogue Festival 2023 which centered around the theme “What Makes us Human?: Image in the Age of A.I.”
In collaboration with Flash Art, a thought-provoking panel discussion delving into the profound questions surrounding Art in the age of AI. A quarter of a century after Sensation, the 1997 seminal exhibition that launched the Young British Art phenomenon and redefined the mediatic power of art for a new generation, “Sensation in the Age of AI” questions the same dynamics of authorship, value and creative disruption in a yet again completely new era, investigating the meaning of artistic integrity, seeking to identify the forces that will both challenge and protect art in the 21st century. Will AI reshape the creative landscape? A philosophical exploration of the timeless question “what is art” in an era of unprecedented dilemmas.

“Sensation in the Age of A.I.: Redefining the Conversation around Art” (Panel Discussion in collaboration with Flash Art) is part of day 3 “A.I. dreamscapes: Art, Fashion, and the Liberation of Creativity" of the Symposium taking place at BASE Milano on Sunday 19th November.
