We already knew President Obama’s taste in literature was second to none, but now POTUS has revealed his summer playlist—and wouldn’t you know it, it’s also pretty great.
Obama tweeted out a follow-up to his 2015 playlist today, and like any thoughtful DJ, he even separated the tracks into “songs for the daytime” and “songs for the nighttime.”

Day or night, the playlist strikes the sought-after balance of hip new jams (“Acid Rain” by Chance the Rapper, and Leon Bridges’s “Smooth Sailin’”) and deep-cut hits (Prince’s “U Got The Look” and “Criminal” by Fiona Apple) that would be met with enthusiastic head-bobs at any hipster house party.
