Coco Chanel was arguably the first designer to reference the uniform of French seamen, and Breton stripes and sailor pants were part of her own personal style repertoire. Rather fittingly, Chopra chose to wear her version of the look in Paris, home to this high-fashion history, and interpreted the iconic stripe in an equally chic and polished way.
