And now, reworking the notion of decade-centric dressing are Rihanna and Rita Ora, who’ve recently taken to the streets with their own haute updates on nineties hip-hop fashion.
RiRi s late-night comings and goings from the recording studio constitute a veritable runway for followers of her rapidly evolving style: From girly slip dresses to skater-inspired ensembles, the 27-year-old continues to push the sartorial envelope. And last week saw her marry a menswear style with unexpected feminine flourish.
