Sabrina Carpenter jetted to London to appear at the 2025 Brit Awards, and gave the Brits an ass-shaking, Britannia flag-waving show.
The singer, who was there to pick up the Global Success award, opened the evening’s ceremony with a remix of “Espresso” and “Bed Chem.” She arrived onstage marching with a brigade of marching—and later, body-popping—King’s Guards. Carpenter herself wore a glitzy scarlet bodysuit version of the traditional uniform, looking even tinier than usual in formation with the guards in their gargantuan black furry hats. As the song melted into the sensual “Bed Chem,” she did a quick change and the stage opened up into a pink boudoir with a team of dancers. As per Carpenter’s playfully sexy stage skits, she ended the performance by slinking below with one of the grinning guards.
But before all that very British jazz, the Vogue cover star hit the red carpet wearing a custom update of an Alexander McQueen spring 2025 pink dress. The pastel pink mermaid style dress features a ruffled bodice and silver embellishments, with layers of ruffles and fabric that fit close to her body in a bombshell hourglass shape.
For Carpenter, the dress was lengthened to incorporate an elegant and dramatic train. It was the perfect moment to celebrate the hallowed British label at a night central to British pop culture, all with a Sab spin. She’s a pink, sparkly, Seán McGirr girl!
Carpenter also wore opulent Bulgari jewelry, including a thick snaking necklace and cocktail rings.
She kept to her signature glam too. A full, dark and rosy lip, pale pink blush on the apples of her cheeks, strong eyebrows, a shimmery eye, and flick of eyeliner. Her long blonde hair was worn in a tousled blowout. The singer also made a quick nail change—from a lipgloss pink manicure for the red carpet to Union Jack-stamped talons by Zola Ganzorigt.
Throughout awards season and her more glamorous events, Carpenter and her stylist Jared Ellner have looked to custom designs, the runway, and the archive: A gilded and golden Versace number, a custom feathery blue and Shirley MacLaine referencing gown by J.W Anderson, eye-popping pink Vivienne Westwood mini-dresses.
Her Global Success Award was presented by Millie Bobby Brown, who wore a silvery and dramatic, hooded gown by Annie’s Ibiza.
“In a very primarily tea-drinking country, you guys streamed the shit out of ‘Espresso ” Carpenter quipped onstage. “This is all because of you and this is for you. Thank you so much. Cheerio!”
For one night only, the Brits got to claim all five foot of Sabrina Carpenter as their own. Please, please, please and toodle pip!
