While much of the East Coast fashion crowd spent the summer s last long weekend soaking up the Montauk sun, the singer took advantage of the Labor Day lull in Manhattan with a low-key shopping spree. Of course, one last all-white sartorial spin was in order, but it was her hair, bound high and swingy, that offered a final carefree taste of summer. Her makeup look followed suit: fresh skin trumped an elaborate contouring regimen with a coat of mascara and a dab of lip gloss taking a back seat to her naturally full brows. Adding to the everyday effect was the slight shading under her eyes--left visible with just a tad of concealer--which gave the look a lived-in French-girl vibe that s sure to set the bar on street-style cool come fall.
