Leave it up to Stephen Colbert to convince celebrities and politicians alike to share their most awkward teenage photos on social media.
On Wednesday s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, actor Nick Kroll challenged Colbert to share such a picture of himself with the #PuberMe and #PuertoRicoRelief hashtag, saying that he would do the same to raise money for the hurricane-stricken island. Not only did both step up to the challenge, many fellow stars, including Lena Dunham, Debbie Harry, and Emmy Rossum followed suit. Colbert said he would donate money through his charity, the Americone Dream Fund, for every star, and Kroll said he d match it.
Colbert wrote he never had an awkward phase. Instead, he shared a photo of himself "lookin cool as hell!"
