Talk about #SquadGoals—the starry cast of the laudably inclusive Suicide Squad showed up in full force on Monday night for the film’s world premiere at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Margot Robbie (resplendent in one of the gilded unicorn gowns right off the Alexander McQueen runway) joined castmates Jared Leto, who preened for photographers in a full Gucci ensemble topped off with an embroidered baby blue suede coat (complete with a lion face on the back), and Cara Delevingne, in a slit and strappy studded slip dress by Anthony Vaccarello that was held together with safety pins. Will Smith and son Jaden were on hand, too, taking group selfies on the red carpet with fellow Squad stars Viola Davis, Karen Fukuhara, and Jay Hernandez. Inside the theater, things got a little heated, with director David Ayer echoing one audience member’s cry of “F— Marvel!” (their industry rivals) during his introductory remarks; he later took to Twitter to apologize. Nothing that this squad couldn’t handle.
