The spring collections in Paris might have ended last week, but pop star Taylor Swift was spotted out on the streets yesterday in an alluring ensemble of a trench and heels. The twist? Swift’s athletic-influenced top underneath her very pretty top layer; the sporty feel of that ALC red-and-black mock turtleneck enhanced the overall aesthetic. Strappy black sandals and wavy tresses finished the look—along with Swift’s signature pout—but to master the art of l’Americaine en Paris, we think one should follow her lead and add an extra ladylike accent via a structured, shoulder bag.
