Paris Spring 2010: The Definitive Look at Rochas

For his debut runway collection for the house of Rochas, Marco Zanini looked to colonial southeast Asia, and to Marguerite Duras’ The Lover, to produce a French collection that was anything but typical. One dress that exemplified Zanini’s theme of wary innocence and his extraordinary hand: a crinolined dress of luxuriously hearty washed-silk twill, paired with a sturdy flat.
