Leonardo DiCaprio does not exactly have what we in the biz call “model-off-duty style” in the same way that, say, his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti sure does. His closet does not runneth over with white tank tops, low-slung jeans, or ballet flats. But that hasn’t stopped Ceretti from incorporating a distinctly Leo style code into her fashion month looks.
While Ceretti has proven herself a fashion chameleon this Paris Fashion Week, her model-off-duty style is all her own. In one instance today, she dressed up a white Leset tee (a firm favorite brand you’ll find often on street-style saviors like Jennifer Lawrence, too) and gray sweats with a Chanel trench coat, Prada sneakers, and a black mini Hermès Kelly. Later on, she changed into a pair of low-rise pinstripe trousers, a navy blue button-up with a matching sweater tied around her shoulders, and black Repetto ballet flats.
Ceretti unified her looks with two consistent accessories: a New York Yankees cap and a pair of black sunglasses. It’s a page taken straight from DiCaprio’s book: the notoriously private actor is known for using his fashion to obscure his identity.
While he often tries to keep a low profile on nights out with a hat, sunglasses, and a face mask, DiCaprio looks to always have a formal black baseball cap at the ready for his more formal events. He attempted to go incognito mode at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding this past summer, styling his tuxedo with a black LA Dodgers baseball cap, bill pulled down over his face. We’d be keen to see Vittoria Ceretti’s take on a black tie baseball cap next.
