Amid the arduous process of compiling Vogue’s 2025 Best Dressed list, a wrinkle emerged. How, we wondered, should we address the fact that some—most—of our picks have not just very good taste, but also very good stylists?
Once upon a time, celebrity stylists lingered behind the scenes; now, the very best are chic public figures in their own right. Among them is Law Roach, the self-proclaimed “image architect” known for transforming Zendaya from an adorable Disney kid into a fashion girl of the highest order. Roach, a visible member of Zendaya’s posse, has since parlayed his position (and expert eye) into work as a judge on series like RuPaul’s Drag Race and Project Runway, all while maintaining an A-list client roster.
Other major stylists have also stepped into the spotlight: Harry Lambert, who dresses Alexander Skarsgård (and styled Bad Bunny’s cover), collaborated with Zara on a Disney collection; Dara Allen, who crafted Addison Rae’s pop-star image, is a model herself; and even the low-key powerhouse Danielle Goldberg stepped in front of the lens to model for JW Anderson’s resort 2026 collection.
Of course, landing a spot on our list required more than just a good stylist; a certain je ne sais quoi had a role to play, too. But in the spirit of giving extra fashion credit where credit is due, meet some of the celebrity stylists behind Vogue’s 2025 Best Dressed honorees.
