Love will take you to some truly crazy places, as I recently mused to myself at the dentist’s office. (Weirdly, my partner prefers for me to have clean and functional teeth?) Perhaps no celebrity has gone the distance in the name of l’amour quite like Taylor Alison Swift, who has been a fixture at Kansas City Chiefs games all season thanks to her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce—and now that the Chiefs are officially headed to the Super Bowl, an important question is in the air: Will Swift be there to cheer her man on? While the answer may seem like an obvious yes, there are certain complications. Read on for a full, albeit theoretical, investigation.

When and where is this year’s Super Bowl?

The 2024 Super Bowl, at which the Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers, is scheduled for Sunday, February 11, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What time does the 2024 Super Bowl start?

Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. PST.

What is Swift’s schedule around the Super Bowl?

Swift is set to perform in Tokyo on February 10, so the question of whether she’ll make it to the Las Vegas in time involves some timing Jenga: her concert should be over by 11 p.m. local time, which is 6 a.m. Saturday in Vegas.

And then how long is the flight from Tokyo to Vegas?

Even the most generous interpretation of the flight time from Tokyo to Vegas estimates that it would take about 11 and a half hours.

Would flying on a private jet (like the one Swift has access to) decrease flight time?

Private jets are, indeed, faster than commercial airliners, meaning that Swift’s resources should get her to Vegas by dinnertime on Saturday night—leaving her plenty of time to head to Allegiant Stadium with whatever plus-ones she chooses (whether Cara Delevingne and Keleigh Teller, the Haim sisters, or Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman) by the time Kelce is hut-hutting his way onto the field the following afternoon.

Can Swift actually pull this off?

Hey, if anyone can, it’s her.
