This weekend Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz dressed as Rosemary Woodhouse and her Satanic spawn from the 1968 horror film Rosemary’s Baby, with Kravitz brandishing a knife. But that wasn’t the only thing notable about her left hand—she was also wearing a large diamond ring on that finger. According to People, the couple, who met in 2021, are now engaged.
The actors met while Kravitz was casting her upcoming project Pussy Island, her directorial debut. The thriller stars Tatum as a tech mogul named Slater King, and Kravitz has said that he became her protector while on set. “Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever—he really was my protector and it was really wonderful and sweet,” Kravitz told GQ of how he supported her during filming.
The couple are very private, and have only made a handful of public appearances on the red carpet—although they have been spied walking around New York from time to time, always in stylish off-duty ensembles. One of their most memorable couple moments came at the 2021 Met Gala, for which Zoë wore a crystal-encrusted naked dress by Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello, and Channing wore a classic Versace tux. They walked the red carpet separately, but the photos of them leaving together via the Met steps became some of the most viral images of the night.
As Kravitz told GQ of her potential husband-to-be: “He’s just a wonderful human.”
