From the Issue: Statement Boots
GiddyUp! This fall, the focus is on boots—as illustrated in our November issue story “Happy Feet,” photographed by Alex Webb and styled by fashion editor Max Ortega. Bringing life to the season’s most dazzling (metallic! feathered! crystallized!) boots were Irina Shayk, Amber Valletta, and dancers from the Los Angeles-based line dancing group Stud Country. As far as trends go, we have sparkly Giuseppe Zanotti boots, glittery Jimmy Choos, and Valentino’s feathery confections. The overall fashion message? Boots can be jewelry.
