Demi Moore! Mikey Madison! All the Starry People at the SAG Awards After-Party
With the end of awards season regrettably near, last night’s much-anticipated 2025 SAG Awards—where votes are cast by fellow actors—reached a crescendo. There was yet another hilarious Kieran Culkin acceptance speech, a perhaps uncharacteristically sincere one from Timothée Chalamet, an empowering message from Jane Fonda, and a standing ovation for Demi Moore. Just after the Conclave cast departed the stage—with Stanley Tucci absent and Ralph Fiennes leading their acceptance speech for the Best Cast award—the after-party, hosted by People and Audi, kicked off in a nearby room. With wine and champagne served throughout, award winners and supporting partygoers alike made their way over to continue the festivities.
In a space even grander than that of the show itself, reverberating sounds filled the floor, accompanied by trays of burger sliders, mini corn dogs, and caviar sandwich bites. In one corner, guests had the opportunity to have their statues engraved—ensuring that nearly everyone could partake in the celebration—though many lingered until the party’s near end.
Around the room’s standing tables and plush, blush-pink lounge seats, friends, castmates, and both new and familiar faces engaged in lively conversation. Just minutes in, Michelle Yeoh was seen showing off her dance moves to OutKast’s “The Way You Move,” setting the tone for what the night had in store. Near a lounging area, The Brutalist’s Adrien Brody sparked conversation with members of the Los Angeles Fire Department, who were also invited to celebrate the evening, while Timothée Chalamet quietly slipped away after snapping a few photos with peers. Only Murders in the Building’s Kumail Ali Nanjiani shared a moment with Quinta Brunson, celebrating a win for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series alongside a surprised Selena Gomez, while Shogun’s Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai—wrapping up their tour of sweeping awards wins—stayed close together as they accepted a slew of congratulations. Ripley’s Andrew Scott was later spotted at the bar, while Molly Shannon snapped selfies with friends in the crowd. As the room began to clear around 9:30 p.m., tunes from Madonna, Kendrick Lamar, and Chance the Rapper inspired dancing among those who remained—among them, Nicola Coughlan, who spent the evening immersed in conversation with a group of friends; Joey King, seen chatting with Anora’s Karren Karagulian; Jodie Foster; and others.
