Rickrack: Not Just for Little Girls Anymore, Thanks to Adam Selman
Rickrack zigged and zagged its way down the runway, and wormed itself into our consciousness at **Adam Selman’**s fall collection. The scalloped trim, a favorite of childrenswear designers, suits short, simple sixties—or sixties-inspired—Lolita dresses. Yesterday however, in the course of a single show, this youthful, sweetly naive decoration got a big bad-girl makeover when Selman used it to edge sleeveless slit dresses worthy of a PG-13 rating.
