Welcome back to Beauty Marks: the weekly edition of Vogue’s best moments in celebrity beauty, as well as the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. Each week, we select the nail art to pin for your next nail appointment, new recruits to ‘Team Bob’, and killer red carpet moments. It’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’ll soon be taking up yourself.
All eyes were on the Croisette this week, as Cannes Film Festival 2025 kicked off and stars both defied and playfully took on the newly instated “no nudity” dress code. Along with that came some stellar beauty looks—including Andie Macdowell’s sweeping gray-embracing side bangs and Kristen Stewart’s newly pink dip-dyed bleach job.
But elsewhere, this week in celebrity beauty also had a more sophisticated approach, with an air of elegance across the makeup, hair looks, and fresh nail sets. Selena Gomez once again took up the naked manicure trend, while Coco Jones on the other hand opted for dramatic stiletto talons. Katie Holmes did horsegirl hair chic, and comedian and singer Cat Cohen went full angelic with undulating waves.
