Papier co-founder Taymoor Atighetchi and Sophie Agar hosted a large wedding celebration at the Palazzo Zeno in Venice. The couple tied the knot—and had a baby—the year before, so this was a beautiful opportunity to bring their families and friends together to celebrate.

The couple incorporated Persian traditions into their ceremony to reflect the groom’s background. For their Venetian nuptials, the bride wore Khaite and a custom veil.

“Each part of Palazzo Zeno was so beautiful we hardly had to add decorations of our own,” share the couple. “The gondola lives in the courtyard all year round and was the perfect table for our spread of Venetian cichetti.”

Instead of cutting into a traditional cake, the newlyweds decided upon a large tiramisu covered in raspberries that was served on the Venetian gondola.

Annastasia, the CEO of Brilliant Minds Foundation, and Italian businessman Cristian Giacomini held a two-day wedding celebration with both a civil and religious ceremony. Naturally, the bride and groom decided to go by way of gondola to transfer from their ceremony to the reception at The St. Regis Venice.
