Estée Lauder and Sabyasachi Celebrated Their Lipstick Collab Brilliantly

Last night, at Sabyasachi’s decadent Christopher Street store in Manhattan s West Village, the Indian fashion house celebrated its collaboration with Estée Lauder. Inspired by the many rich colors of India (shades include Calcutta Red and Rouge Bengal), the matte-hued lipstick collection is packaged in exquisite gilded cases topped with the Sabyasachi Tiger medallion plated in 24 Karat gold—would you expect anything less from Sabyasachi?

Fronting the campaign is Imaan Hammam, who was in attendance at last night s cocktail fete, which featured a full spread of Indian delights. Also there were Sabyasachi Mukherjee, founder of the house, Karlie Kloss, Kate Young, Amy Fine Collins, and New York City Ballet dancers
Roman Mejia and Tiler Peck. At one point in the night, Hammam even picked up a shade for a touchup in one of the store s many mirrors—and in doing so, she convinced every girl in the room that they needed a shade of their own.
