DAY ONE: MORNING: My work as Bookings Director at Vogue keeps me beyond busy. Here, I m up early on a Monday morning and en route to the office.
This dress by socially minded designer Amelia Toro is hand-sewn and beaded by a single seamstress in Colombia—her name, Maria, is sewn inside. I ve paired the dress with Canadian designer **Arielle de Pinto’**s crocheted gold and silver necklace.
Hair: Franco Gobbi; Make-Up: Mariko Hirano

My nurse s cape was a fortuitous vintage find.

The red lining on the cape caught my eye as a man in a vintage store kept trying it on and taking it off with doubt. He debated with a friend whether it was better suited to a man or woman and they asked me to be the tie-breaker. I said "a woman," and when he conceded, I swiftly purchased it myself!

A Saint Laurent kitten heel is the perfect height for a brisk walk from the subway and in to work. I favor understated handbags with clean lines and this top-handle bag is a staple in my work-week wardrobe.

DAY ONE: EVENING: Here, I m leaving my office in Times Square and about to head up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to work at the Met Gala. At the Met, Alber Elbaz told me he loved how I wore this Lanvin gown when he spotted me in it as he made his way up the stairs to the receiving line. This was definitely the greatest fashion compliment I have ever received!
I paired this dress with a red shoe on the advice of a colleague. The shoes and the pale pink Perrin Paris gloves flatter the gown perfectly.
