Frame Packed Caviar Kaspia Full of Fashion’s Faves

Just how many people can you fit in the back room of the legendary Caviar Kaspia in Paris? If you ask Frame, a lot, then add a few more, and maybe even squeeze in just a couple others between, on the ends of the banquette or with an extra chair or two. The contemporary fashion brand has played host to one of the fashion set’s favorite Paris Fashion Week dinners for years now, always with the signature caviar baked potato and always with a guest list that includes friends of the house ranging from models and editors to actresses and stylists. This time around, Sienna Miller, Jessica Stam, Cole Sprouse, Lila Moss, Derek Blasberg, Sophia Roe, and Chemena Kamali were just a few of the people sitting at the table or musing about, cocktails in hand.
“Frame has been about community from day one and there is no more chic or fun place to bring our industry family and new friends together than Caviar Kaspia, in the middle of Paris Fashion Week,” said Erik Torstensson, Frame co-founder. The night began with cocktails and mini photo shoots with the models in attendance, most of whom were wearing the brand’s slick trousers and weathered leather jackets in lush shades of caramel or brandy.
Next came the feast, as everyone took their places at one of two long tables decked with elegant candles, polaroid portraits, and custom stickers. Guests sipped wine and vodka and had the choice of the classic crab salad or the infamous smoked salmon with a blini and that deliciously decadent scoop of crème fraîche. Then, the main event: the caviar baked potato with another dollop of crème fraîche on the side, followed by fruit and the endless clinking of champagne glasses and air kisses. “We probably outgrew the private salon, in terms of chair to guest ratio, a few years ago but I think the extra cozy vibe has become a tradition for us too now, " added Torstensson. The dinner served as a well-needed respite for friends old and new—with endlessly entertaining fashion week fodder and gossip to keep all entertained through the night.
