All the Photos from Inside Glamour’s 2021 Women of the Year Awards

Last night, Glamour editor-in-chief Samantha Barry hosted the 2021 Women of the Year Awards. Set within Manhattan’s iconic Rainbow Room, which offers a dazzling view of the city’s skyline, guests of the evening turned up in their black-tie best. The location was also a nod to the first-ever Women of the Year Awards, which took place 30 years ago in the very same space.
Each year, the glitzy event celebrates women who inspire and this time around, the list included Grammy-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion, Former National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman, voting rights activists Helen Butler, Nsé Ufot, and LaTosha Brown, biochemist and vaccine pioneer Dr. Katalin Karikó, Emmy-winning actor Mariska Hargitay, and Heart of Dinner co- founders Yin Chang and Moonlynn Tsai.
Guests heard from all of the evening’s honorees; speeches were moving and felt like a call to action of sorts, inspiring all those listening to believe in themselves above all else.
“I want to dedicate this award to every woman out there who’s been told she’s not enough of one thing or too much of another,” said Megan Thee Stallion. “To the women who stood up and said, ‘This is me–love it or leave it!’”
