Gwyneth Paltrow Hosted a Dinner in L.A.—And Asked All Her Famous Guests to Come Makeup-Free

Last night in Los Angeles, skin was in. Gwyneth Paltrow hosted an intimate dinner and conversation about wellness, but this was not your average celebrity soiree, as the Goop founder encouraged all her guests to attend completely bare-faced.

That’s right, those in attendance arrived sans concealer, foundation, and mascara. They could, however, enhance their glow via Paltrow’s latest Goop product—a hyaluronic acid and vitamin C–infused serum. In conversation with L.A-based artist Alexandra Grant, Paltrow discussed all things beauty and aging with the intimate guest list, which included Demi Moore and daughter Rumer Willis, Erin Foster, Cassandra Grey, and Kate Hudson.

Guests dined on a Goop-approved menu featuring antioxidant-boosting plates beneficial for skin and gut health like greens with a tarragon dressing and salmon steak with kale. In between courses, Chinese medicine practitioner Laura Erlich offered ear-seed treatments to target stress, sleep, and anxiety.
