Havana Rose Liu and Kristine Froseth Have a Girls’ Night Out at the Tory Burch Show

Not every girls’ night out ends at the Tory Burch show. But when Havana Rose Liu and Kristine Froseth left rehearsals for their forthcoming Off-Broadway show All Nighter, they headed straight to glam—in matching Tory Burch tracksuits, of course—before dashing to the designer’s fall 2025 runway at the Museum of Modern Art.
Below, Liu and Froseth bring us along as they bop between rehearsal and the runway—and let us in on their night-out rituals. (Hint: They’re just as obsessed with Doechii as we are.)
Vogue: What’s your pump-up ritual for a girls’ night out?
Havana Rose Liu: Music, music, music! Trying on a lot of different outfits that I will have to tidy up later (bummer), dancing around until I’m going to be late, and then more music on the train or in the car!
Kristine Froseth: I always blast my getting ready playlist which includes a lot of Jamie xx and Doechii; I boogie while I pick out my outfit (mood dependent) and do glam (glitter is usually applied).
What do you two like to do together most?
KF: We looove to dance! We met at an event and had barely spoken, but immediately connected on the dance floor. Havana’s energy is so alive and contagious; I always feel like I’m laughing or dancing with her in the most expressive ways!
HRL: Kristine you little dream! I feel the same way—Kristine is so bright and free! It’s true, we have danced together a lot, and sort of in an unhinged way every time…I think we bring out a lot of good silliness in each other.
What drew you to your outfits tonight?
KF: I fell in LOVE with the black dress the moment I saw it because of its elegance and darkness. I love playing with oppositions and the dress made me tap into both my dark and feminine side. I felt empowered and honest.
HRL: We were going to match, and I was going to wear the dress in white—but then I swooned over these pants! I couldn’t help it, they were singing to me from the rack. The texture, the construction—they are such powerful pants. I feel ferocious in them. Sadly, I don’t think I’m actually that ferocious in real life; it’s a ruse. So, I had to wear my amazing pants and abandon Kristine, but it’s okay because Kristine looks so amazing.
How does your look tonight reflect your personal style?
HRL: This look is outside my comfort zone in a way I really enjoy. I love that a good outfit can let you take a step outside of yourself. Although, I will say, in real life, I do prioritize good, interesting pants and things I can move in, and this look holds both! In terms of personal style, I feel like I have always appreciated that clothes can be used to reflect my internal world in a way that’s vulnerable and thoughtful, but recently I’ve been seeing clothes as a gateway to adventure.
KF: I am quite pragmatic when it comes to clothing while also being very true to my current emotional self. I have a lot of fun expressing what I am currently feeling or going through with fashion, so it ebbs and flows, but I always make sure to feel comfortable. This dress is incredibly comfortable (!!) and allowed me to express both my power and sadness. Without feeling like I can move how I need/want, I can’t be true to the moment.
