Chef Jonathan Waxman from New York City’s Barbuto came down to Nashville and opened Adele’s after my husband and I begged and begged because we love Barbuto so much! Delicious food and a fabulous outdoor patio. He makes the best margarita you can find. On the rocks, how I like it!

Dixie and I love to go to the Nashville Zoo. It has a beautiful carousel and the best jungle gym I ve ever seen! In the spring and summer, you will find us there weekly.

City House was one of the first restaurants to come and change the food scene in Nashville. It s absolutely delicious. The kale salad is a must, and if they have the raw corn salad, you will not be disappointed. But don t let all my talk of salads confuse you. This place also has the best wood-oven pizza in town. I like mine with a cooked egg in the middle.

Ryman is one of the most magical places you could ever watch a concert. All the greats have played here, from rock ’n’ roll to country, and it’s small and intimate.

My favorite place for working out in Nashville is Willow Pilates Studio. They have great teachers, and it’s in the best part of town.
