Lily-Rose Depp Had a Pretty in Pink Makeup Moment for “The King” Premiere

It was la vie en rose for Lily-Rose Depp last night for the premiere of her Netflix historical drama, The King. The actress stepped out in a silk Chanel dress from the house s Cruise 2019/2020 collection for an evening to celebrate the new film based on William Shakespeare s “Henriad,” about King Henry V. But before the red carpet, Depp prepped with her trusty glam squad in New York, where celebrity makeup artist Nina Park gave the actress a lit-from-within glow worthy of a princess.
Park played up Depp s striking eyes by swiping a black kohl liner across her lash line before dipping into a variety of nude shadows from Chanel s Les 4 Ombres palette. After a careful tracing of lipliner, Park used taupe colored lipstick tones to offset the magenta embroidered flowers on Depp’s gown.
The actress s light brunette lengths were kept off her face and pulled back into soft waves, letting her superstar skin reign supreme. Here, an exclusive look at how the French beauty got ready for the event in the Big Apple.
