Keyhani, who is never not wearing a hat and who calls a beribboned stuffed goose a pet, lives in a world—and a wardrobe—of her own making. “I spend a lot of time on the other side of reality, so fantasy is very much where these pieces exist,” she quipped before going on to explain how much she enjoys the idea of the wedding as an opportunity to create one’s own universe. The look book for her new line can be read as a sort of a primer on throwing a fairy-tale-style fete. “It was like I was planning a fake wedding, which is even more fun because it can be strictly for your imagination,” said Keyhani whose own self-designed wedding dress can be spied in the images.
