See the Most Dazzling Jewelry From the 2025 Oscars—and the After-Party
The 2025 Oscars offered no shortage of standout fashion moments, from Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet debuting Sarah Burton’s Givenchy to Ariana Grande’s voluminous Schiaparelli couture. But lest we forget the jaw-dropping jewelry that helped elevate these fabulous red carpet looks.
Statement necklaces ruled the red carpet. Selena Gomez, Elle Fanning, Isabella Rossellini, and Anok Yai all opted for collar necklaces, while Bruna Marquezine and Coralie Fargeat chose pieces that draped over their décolletage. Margaret Qualley and Michelle Yeoh, meanwhile, both tried their hand at the backward jewelry trend, wearing their diamonds dripping down their spines.
While diamonds are to be expected on the red carpet, some stars chose colorful stones to accompany their looks: Raye matched her vermillion Vivienne Westwood dress with a Lorraine Schwartz ruby pendant, while Connie Nielsen’s trio of enormous emeralds from Joseph Saidian Sons complemented her pale pink dress. Zoe Saldaña, who debuted Cartier’s new Panthere Versatiles necklace, wore emeralds and onyx along with her diamonds.
Still, there were plenty of gems to gawk at beyond the necklaces. Yeoh wore an ornate cuff around her ear while Cynthia Erivo added some Ozian rings to underscore her elaborate manicure. And let’s not forget the men: Omar Apollo wore a lizard brooch and phoenix ring, while Best Actor nominees Adrien Brody and Colman Domingo affixed gilded brooches to their lapels. Domingo also wore a diamond-covered Omega watch.
The Vanity Fair after-party continued the ceremony’s prevailing trend of statement necklaces. Best Actress winner Mikey Madison accessorized with a platinum and yellow gold Tiffany Co. set with over 14 carats of spinels. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez changed into a high-neck Bvlgari choker and Anna Sawai donned a Cartier necklace with chrysoprase and onyx.
Emeralds continued to dominate at the afters, as well. Lindsay Lohan wore a two-strand Lorraine Schwartz necklace with nearly 100 carats of Colombian emeralds, while Lisa’s Bvlgari Serpenti necklace featured more subtle flashes of green among the diamonds.
