Mytheresa and Gianvito Rossi Hosted a Summer Soirée at Wölffer Estate
On Friday evening, Italian designer Gianvito Rossi and Mytheresa gathered friends and fashion folk for an intimate dinner set between the grape vines at Wölffer Estate’s private residence in Sagaponack. From the horses who greeted guests upon their arrival to the acoustic sounds by Tom Wardle, this summer soirée felt every bit magical.
Sporting Gianvito Rossi sandals, long-time friends Laura Brown and Katie Couric joined Rossi and Mytheresa’s Heather Kaminetsky in hosting the fabulous affair. Guests including Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Brooke Shields, Tarana Burke, Athena Calderone, Gucci Westman, Leandra Medine, Lauren Bosworth, Kelly Turlington Burns, Joey Wölffer, Coco Bassey, Destinee Ross Sultan, and Jacqueline Jablonski were welcomed to the picturesque property with poolside cocktails and canapés. A spicy Paloma and glasses of Wölffer’s famous Summer in a Bottle rosé swirled around the manicured lawn and patio decorated with candlelit lanterns.
Following the cocktail hour by the pool, guests made their way into the vineyard for the formal dinner set under the stars. Bountiful bouquets of wildflowers dressed the long table, where white linen napkins embroidered with guests’ initials served as the place settings.
Once guests settled into their seats, Rossi stood to say a few kind words to the crowd. “Tonight is about celebrating our partnership with Mytheresa for over 10 years and for having a shared an amplified value of my brand,” Rossi began. “Elegance, modernity, and quality have always been the pillars of my work. I want to thank you all for being here tonight and for raising a glass to Italian style and artisanal excellence.”
As the sun set behind the seemingly endless rows of vines, a multi-course farm-to-table meal was served. For starters, guests were treated to a seasonal salad topped with grapefruit and fennel, which was followed by a pesto pasta and the fresh catch of the day. And for the grand finale, personal lemon curd tarts were paired with a house dessert wine for guests to enjoy while stargazing.
