Mytheresa Hosted a NYFW Soirée at its Favorite Bar

If Thursday evening was any indication, Mytheresa’s bi-annual event might be on its way to becoming a New York Fashion Week party staple. The night before shows officially commenced, the German retailer (now steadily blowing up across the U.S.) rounded up a bevy of influencers at the Temple Bar, an intimate spot the brand hosted their fashion week kickoff at last year as well.

Inside, guests are transported into what feels like something out of a vintage film, lit by a number of candles throughout the space; the swanky interior includes rich wooden finishings, velvet drapery, and giant, vintage glam room-style light fixtures above the room’s backside bar. On the menu were fun bites such as grilled cheese sandwiches and sliders, and without fail, those on the guest list were among some of the most recognizable faces out and about in the city for the week of non-stop shows, including Sarita Choudhury, Leonie Hanne, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and Joseph Altuzarra.
