It’s been five years since twin brothers Ariel and Shimon Ovadia launched Ovadia Sons, their New York–based menswear label. Early collections were very much of their moment: Men’s fashion was trading up from workwear, and Ovadia Sons embraced that with genteel suiting that balanced preppy American, polished British, and more casual Italian elements. In recent seasons, however, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund–nominated label has relaxed into a less formal yet equally elegant aesthetic, with narrow cuts and premium fabrics still important to its essence.
The fall collection that the Ovadias debuted earlier this week—at a show attended by the New York Giants’ Victor Cruz, Shawn Ashmore of The Following, and the L.A.
