Inside PatBO’s SoHo Store Opening Party

On Thursday night, the city’s glittering set flocked to (where else?) SoHo to toast PatBO’s first US flagship store. Following the brand’s first-ever runway show at New York Fashion Week, Patricia Bonaldi, founder and designer, hosted a triumphant cocktail party for friends of the brand. 

Tequila concoctions circulated the breezy, tropical space. With its flamingo wallpaper and sand-colored wood, the shop brings the sensibility of Bonaldi’s native Brazil to Manhattan. 

Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies looked every bit the heiress in a floor-length, corseted, cut-out gown. DJ Vashtie turned tracks in a fabulously casual set of pajamas. The so-called “Young Emperors,” TikTok’s favorite sartorial couple, reflected Vashtie’s leisurely look. 

Following the chaos of the week before (the Met gala, the US Open, the VMAs, and of course, NYFW), attendees savored the celebratory evening and relished in the bright future of PatBO.
