Fans of Pernille Teisbæk and Mango Will Love Their New Collaboration—Shop It Here

Mango is selective with its collaborations, and the brand’s latest partnerships reflect this with collections designed by Sofía Sanchez de Betak, a.k.a. Chufy, and artist André Saraiva. Now, Mango returns with another marked collaboration—this time in tandem with Pernille Teisbæk, one of fashion’s first guard of mega-influencers.
“We’ve been discussing this design project for years,” Pernille Teisbæk tells Vogue. “Finally, the opportunity to move forward with the design collaboration came this year.” Teisbæk and Mango are no strangers to each other; in fact, they have worked together for six years on various projects (including Teisbæk’s appearance in Mango campaigns). Now, the duo has teamed up on an inaugural 20-piece capsule collection that is both modern and timeless, embracing Danish Teisbæk’s Scandinavian style—a coveted look that won the influencer a loyal following. “We mixed the Mediterranean style from Mango with my Scandinavian style, and it resulted in a very interesting combo. The Mango team really embraced the Scandi look,” says Teisbæk.
Teisbæk doesn’t believe in trends: “I believe in reinterpreting classics, reusing your wardrobe, and investing in long-lasting pieces,” she says. “I love working with contrasts and tonal layering. [The collection] is based on some of my all-time favorites and styles I love wearing the most.” The collection indeed features a bevy of smart wardrobe staples to have for years to come. The range is minimalist and modern and includes suiting separates, a carefully crafted white tee, high-waist denim, expertly tailored overcoats, and sleek bodysuits that can be worn day to night—all in neutral colorways. “I wanted to create strong single pieces that can be integrated in an existing wardrobe and reused for many seasons... I wanted it to be timeless, easy to wear, and long-lasting, so I worked to create a very wearable collection and styles that fit to most occasions.” says Teisbæk.
As for her favorite pieces? “I love the entire collection,” she says, noting that it’s hard to choose just one. “However, I love the cream or black suits that can be worn both separately with a pair of jeans or a basic T-shirt and together with a pair of sneakers and a tank top.” To Teisbæk, “it’s all about the styling.” She suggests to “always work with layering. It can make a basic wardrobe much more interesting. Have fun with the accessories—shoes, jewelry, and bags. It can upgrade a casual look.”
