Roger Vivier Launched its Latest Collection With a Rouge Passion Party

Creative director Gherado Felloni quite literally painted Paris red on Thursday evening in celebration of his spring 2022 collection for Roger Vivier. Inspired by escapism, the special soirée brought his own fantasy land to life at iconic French brassiere, Le Boeuf sur le Toit. Felloni transformed the dining room decorated in mirrors into an immersive Roger Vivier experience.

Upon arrival to Felloni’s fashion week utopia, guests were welcomed with glasses of bubbly and classic hors d’oeuvres like foie gras bites, smoked salmon cubes, and, of course, endless caviar. From the decadent displays showcasing his latest sparkly satin stilettos to the peephole-lined wall where models debuted his latest handbag designs, Felloni brought his spring 2022 collections video alive. The jaunty clip was directed by Andrea Danese and features Italian actresses Isabella Rossellini and Vassili Schneider.

Painted head-to-toe in green with bright wigs to boot, Felloni’s flock of models slash entertainers put on a show. They romped around the room with contagious energy and offered candy for everyone to enjoy along with sparkling, utterly Roger Vivier pieces. Fashion week goers and friends of the Maison like Anna Cleveland, Coco Rocha, Rossy de Palma, Catherine Deneuve, Precious Lee, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Soko, and Vogue’s Francesca Ragazzi all took part in the evening’s play.

Once the clock struck 9:30 PM, guests headed down to the legendary music hall for the main event. Adorned with rosy bouquets, the dinner tables were equally lively as the cocktail hour, and mates chatted about the week’s top shows and parties. On the menu was a garden salad dressed with a light vinaigrette followed by lasagne de legumes, a simple and savory fare. 

Of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without a live performance by Felloni himself, who serenaded the crowd before a decadent mille-feuille a la Vanille was served for dessert. A designer and singer, among many other things, Felloni constantly surprises his fans by making the mythical into a reality, even just for one night.
