All the Stars—Jeremy Allen White, Jennifer Aniston, Ayo Edibiri, and More!—Celebrated The SAG Awards at This After-Party
In Hollywood, award shows call for a long day—on Saturday, actors, nominees, and showgoers hit the red carpet for the SAG Awards as early as 2 PM, and the show wraps past 7 PM. Exhausted as some may be, it’s never an excuse to pass up a good after-party. This year, People threw a bash in a large ballroom just a few feet over from where the ceremony was held at the historic Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, making it an easy stop for winners, nominees, and supporters to celebrate before calling it a night.
Inside the grand room, multi-colored light beams jutted from an architecturally exposed ceiling, with a massive arch towering over the space. In the center was an illuminated Campari bar, and dotted throughout the otherwise low-lit space, a number of loungey cloud couches were reserved for VIP guests.
With The Bear nearly sweeping awards season, Jeremy Allen White rightfully kept the party going with cast mates Matty Matheson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Billie Eilish also made her way in, Phineas by her side, now donning on her shoulder a tiny Vivienne Westwood coin purse that was missing on the carpet. Spotting worlds collide always becomes an interesting phenomenon at such parties, with Ciara and husband Russell Wilson mingling with Jennifer Aniston and Ayo Edebiri elsewhere sharing a laugh with fellow comedian Kathryn Hahn. An upscale gala it may be, but a few, including Colman Domingo, were spotted dancing to the disco beats that blared over the speakers. And looking around, there didn’t appear to be many that vowed to skip the post-ceremony event, with Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Lily Gladstone, Pedro Pascal and Jessica Chastain all there.
Later, servers swapped their trays of steak tartare and pigs in a blanket for dessert, and that was perhaps an indication that the night was winding down. One by one, stars began to trickle out, some undoubtedly headed home, and others with their sights set on the next party.
