Inside Miu Miu Select’s Shopping Fête With Sydney Sweeney

Amidst all the posh purchasing, partygoers sipped on specialty cocktails and sampled snacks while enjoying a live performance by DJ Odalys. Attendees included Alyssa Coscarelli, Chrissy Rutherford, Fe Noel, and Selah Marley. Amongst the crowd, the effervescently kindhearted starlet mingled and helped invitees decide on their fashion picks for the evening. Happy customers stood by, watching as unique Miu Miu tags signed by Sweeney herself were hand-sewn into their new purchases during the event. 

“I wanted to choose pieces that were the most authentic to myself and style. I chose an array of night out and night in, because I also find myself tending to wear a lot of sweatshirts and comfy clothes,” Sweeney told Vogue. “There are some pieces there that are elevated loungewear, alongside some really fun night out pieces… And I love sparkles, so there s a lot of shine too!” While walking through the curation, Sweeney pointed out one of her favorite looks: a black denim jacket and jeans set, bejeweled in à la 2001 Britney Spears AMA look.

Launched in 2019, Miu Miu ‘selectors’ have included the likes of Georgia May Jagger, Chloë Sevigny, Alexa Chung, Adwoa Aboah, and more. Miu Miu Select sees the label’s friends curating a highly personalized collection as a celebration of its uniquely femme yet idiosyncratic sense of style.
