It’s true, the words “iPad case” may not have the same evocative ring as, say, a Birkin bag, but we think it’s high time for a change. Technology has become a part of our wardrobe as essential as shoes—and as equally on display. Gone, thankfully, are the days when our cameras and phones had to live inside a blah-blah black hardshell: Let fashion trump function, or rather, stylishly sheath it. Inspired by the bold, bright, and blingy look we spotted this week on streetfsn.blogspot.com, we rounded up some of our favorite adorned, embellished, and embossed cases, all proof that the tech tote is the new handbag. After all, doesn’t the technology we all hold near and dear (pause now for a moment and imagine how you’d feel if you shattered your phone) deserve a chic case worthy of its personal value?
