Earlier today, the fall 2025 Chanel show closed out an eventful Paris Fashion Week that was filled with loads of design innovation—not to mention tons of celebrities sitting in the front rows, too. The French fashion house’s presentation this morning was one of the most star-studded of the week, with notable names such as Dakota Fanning, Camila Cabello, Jessica Alba, and Tyla all taking in the new assortment of signature tweeds and bags on the runway. “My favorites were the denim moments, and the stacked jewelry,” Tyla tells Vogue. “Chanel is such a classic timeless brand, so I really looked forward to attending the show. The venue was insane and I love Paris—it felt fancyyy.”
The South African singer brought her own fashion flavor to the mix. You could even say she embraced method dressing for the occasion, in that she wanted to pay homage to the house with her front row outfit. “I wanted to feel like a classic rich Chanel girl,” says Tyla, who sported the a Barbie pink tweed jacket with a matching strapless top and mini skirt by the label. Punctuating her look, meanwhile, was loads of Chanel Fine Jewelry—including several Coco Crush rings, made of 18-karat white gold and diamonds.
Tyla is always one to nail a bold fashion statement on a red carpet (and in her many music videos and performances, too), but her Chanel look proved to be one of her more refined and dressy offerings yet. “These days I’m obsessed with high-fashion mixed with street fashion,” says Tyla of her ever-evolving aesthetic. Lately, however, she does admit that she has been on a real Chanel kick: Her last purchase was a rare—and very much epic—bag from the label: “My Chanel ankle monitor bag,” she says, from spring 2008.
Now that Paris Fashion Week has officially concluded, there won’t be much time for sightseeing for Tyla, who is delving right back into her jam-packed schedule. “I always try spot the [Eiffel] tower when driving around,” she says of her limited time in the City of Light. Now, though, she is onto another European city. “I have a show in Rome next,” she says. In honor, allow us to play her new “Push 2 Start Remix” music video on repeat. Tyla says the video was exciting to put together. “It was fun to play around with fashion and the visuals,” she says. “We didn’t have much planned, but at the end it came together. It felt like old times—it was a trust the process type video!”
