Victoria Beckham Hosted a Fashionable Fried Chicken Feast With Mytheresa at Coqodaq

Enjoying the sounds of a vibey Sade- and Saint Germain-filled set by Dj Elias Becker—son of Boris, naturally—the banquettes looked like a Victoria Beckham campaign come to life. Models galore in draped satin gowns and jersey dresses balanced VB x Mytheresa-branded chopsticks to elegantly sample artichoke and truffle tartlets and fennel salad. None with more command than Mytheresa’s chief buying officer, Tiffany Hsu. Even in a backless tulle sequin bodysuit with a plunging neckline, she made digging into the family-style Korean feast look like a breeze, as she walked her seatmates through what was what on the spinning Lazy Susan.

When the hotly-anticipated clementine buckets of the Chef s signature better-for-you fried chicken finally made their way into the dining room, along with pickled vegetables, fries, mac and cheese, and cold perilla seed noodles, there was much fanfare. At one point, a table of stunners waited patiently while the glistening entrée had its BFA closeup.

A moment that caused equal levels of where-am-I right now excitement came when an ivory silk-clad Beckham did her rounds to each booth and took a seat, chatting to stylists and editors and exchanging notes on caviar and holiday plans. As the dinner stretched on towards 11 p.m., it’s safe to say no one was in a hurry to leave.

To end the night, little cups of soft serve with a seasonal fruit drizzle landed in front of each guest. The only thing sweeter? Leaving the dreamy evening armed with the new vanilla-rich 21:50 Rêverie fragrance from Victoria Beckham. And perhaps, a doggie bag or two of the city’s most famous chicken du jour.
