On an autumnal morning in London, Vogue Club invited its members, alongside British Vogue editors and friends of Vogue, to the Victoria Albert Museum for an intimate breakfast and private viewing of Coco Chanel. Fashion Manifesto—the first UK exhibition dedicated to the work of French couturière, Gabrielle Coco Chanel, charting the establishment of the House of Chanel. Since opening this summer, the Chanel exhibition has created quite a stir in London, with fashion obsessives eagerly hoping to view the sold-out spectacle.
Party-goers arrived at the iconic British Museum, strutting down the palatial exhibition road entrance and into the V&A s Gamble Room (the world s first museum café) to enjoy a selection of French pastries, coffees, and teas. The occasion called for a dress code paying homage to Chanel as guests were encouraged to "Dress Coco," wearing pearls, tweeds, and a slew of chic black and white. Spotted amidst the crowd in attendance, British Vogue s new Head of Content, Chioma Nnadi, and many familiar Vogue editorial faces, as well as Immy Waterhouse and Phoebe Saatchi. After the last few bites of petit-déjeuner, guests gleefully strolled into the Coco Chanel exhibition, soaking in every detail before the museum opened to the public.
