I m just gonna be happy to be

in the same room with her.

I m really excited to see her.

We re so thrilled that she s here tonight.

[relaxed music]

I think Michelle Obama is a fantastic woman

because she s very interested in art

and culture in this country.

And that is so important for everybody

to have some involvement.

[crowd yelling]

What I like about the first lady s style is

it s all American.

It s totally flavorful.

Even with this gigantic style that she has

she s trading on her intellect

more than anything else.

She s wearing lots of designers and it s exciting

and she wears something different every day.

I m a big cardi girl,

so I love that she does her cardis

and her belts on the outside of them.

I love a lot of choices that she makes.

I know I personally have whipped out

a few cardigans as of late,

and I m sure in some ways I m summoning her influence.

She puts it on and it sells out.

I think she made everything much more accessible.

So it gives some fun and hope.

I think it s very wonderful.

I really think, if anything,

she s got the most incredible first lady body ever.

She has wonderful style, dresses beautifully,

but more important, it s what she s doing right now

for young people.

All of the examples that she s setting.

I think that s really what it s about,

and that for me is the greatest style.
